Connie Ulrich’s fully equipped goldsmith studio is the perfect setting to make your own wedding bands, anniversary ring or any other special ring. You will be expertly guided through the process of handcrafting your ring. From design to heating, shaping, hammering and finishing, your ring will truly be a one-of-a-kind work of art.
Imagine making your own wedding rings! The experience of making your rings will also be memorable and meaningful and, dare we say, romantic, as you hand-forge the most important rings you will ever wear.
In one 4-hour session, Connie will share with you the tools of her craft and guide you from design to finished ring. When booking your ring-making experience, we will discuss details and material choices so that we can have everything ready on the day of your workshop. All materials are at an additional cost, and prices will vary depending on the selection of materials and design. Come experience the art of making your own ring!
In a four hour session, I can teach you how to make a simple band that you can texture with hammers to be more organic or polish traditionally smooth.
If stones or advance details are wanted we will discuss the extra time and steps needed. This could take another session or I will need 2-4 weeks to complete the piece.
WORKSHOPS
We will be fabricating the rings, working directly in the metal you choose. You will use hand tools to saw, shape and texture your bands and a jeweler’s torch to solder. I will walk you through each step until the very end! You will walk away with a professional, comfortable ring!
